Wiringa Park Poll Merino Stud is a family-owned and operated Poll Merino stud based in Nyabing, in Western Australia's Great Southern region. Built on three generations of farming experience, Wiringa Park combines practical commercial knowledge with a progressive approach to dual-purpose Poll Merino genetics.
What began around the kitchen table has grown into a respected and innovative Poll Merino operation. Jeff Hobley, Greg and Allan’s Dad, had a base of outstanding genetics and a lifelong passion for sheep breeding. The Hobley family took the opportunity to establish their own stud and built a breeding program focused on performance, consistency and profitability.
Since those early beginnings, Wiringa Park has continued to evolve by embracing new genetics, technologies and management practices to continually improve the flock and deliver value to clients. Family remains at the heart of everything we do.
Alongside Allan and Greg, the support of Sarah, Sophie, Isla, Anna, Liam and Lachie has helped shape Wiringa Park into the business it is today. Together, the family has shared in a proud journey spanning almost 20 years in the Poll Merino industry.

Built on generations of farming knowledge and driven by a passion for progress, Wiringa Park breeds Poll Merinos designed for modern sheep enterprises.
Operating across 7,000 hectares of owned and leased land in the heart of the Western Australian Wheatbelt, Wiringa Park runs a mixed grain and livestock enterprise alongside its stud operation. The business manages 1,500 stud ewes, 3,500 commercial ewes and 5,500 hectares of cropping including wheat, barley, canola, lupins and vetch, giving the stud a genuine commercial environment to test the genetics it breeds.
Wiringa Park has built a reputation for breeding adaptable, profitable and high-performing Poll Merino sheep suited to a wide range of environments. With average annual rainfall of approximately 350mm, our rams and ewes are bred under real commercial conditions and selected for their ability to thrive across diverse production systems.
